Grazing Hills Alpaca Ranch
is located in Viola, Idaho, just 70 scenic miles from Coeur d'Alene,
Idaho and Spokane, Washington. Our ranch lies near the base of Moscow
Mountain among the rolling wheat fields of the Palouse. You are welcome
to visit our farm any day--just call ahead to make sure someone will be here to
show you around. Guest lodging is available to those traveling from some
distance, and we invite you to enjoy a beautiful view of grazing alpacas
over breakfast. Our animals share their
barn with guest lodging, and we sometimes notice they show a hint of envy for the better
accommodations. We also have raw fiber, rovings, batts
and yarn in a variety of natural colors available for you to touch,
exclaim over and purchase. We look forward to your Viola visit! |
| Just one
more cria birth remaining and the fall colors are beginning to dress the
trees in all their seasonal splendor. It has been a very dry
summer, but the nights are dipping into nearly freezing temperatures
already. The new crias are running the pastures, and all around ,
we are reminded of God in His glorious creation. Our year has been
full, and the blessings immense. |
